What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Core Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of Inspiration Chapel based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

Jesus

The incarnation, sinless life, bodily death and resurrection of Jesus for the salvation of all that believe, repent and remain in Christ. Jesus is the full representation of God on the Earth.

The Bible

The Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible and inerrant.

God

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and co-eternal. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise.  God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom,  justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He makes people aware of their need for Christ. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation and provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The believer should seek to be Holy Spirit filled, empowered and led, learning to utilize his or her spiritual gifts. As Christians we seek to live under His leading daily.

The Return of Jesus

Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time to establish His Kingdom and judge the living and the dead. This will occur at a date undisclosed by the Scriptures.
